BOYS
Hempfield Area 68 Connellsville 44
Trevor Donsen's 19 points helped power Hempfield Area to a 68-44 Section 2-6A triumph at Connellsville. The Spartans trailed 27-22 at halftime but used a 30-9 scoring edge in the third quarter to take control. In addition to Donsen, Danny Husenits also reached double figures with 11 points for Hempfield Area (4-2, 1-1). Christian Thomas collected 11 points for the Falcons (2-4, 0-2).
Greater Latrobe 82 Uniontown 43
Greater Latrobe hopped out to a 25-6 lead and buried Uniontown 82-43 in a Section 1-5A clash. Dom Scarton rang up 25 points for the Wildcats (3-3, 1-1) while Andy Tatsch and Ian DeCerb scored 17 and 10 points respectively. Cameron Dugan's 18 points paced the Red Raiders (3-3, 1-1).
Franklin Regional 60 McKeesport 53
Franklin Regional captured its third victory in a row, downing McKeesport 60-53 in Section 1-5A play. The Panthers found themselves down 49-42 at the end of the third quarter but closed the game on an impressive 18-4 run to secure the win. Alec Masten put in a team-high 19 points for Franklin Regional (5-1, 2-0). Colin Holt added 14 points and Webber Rankin finished with 11 for FR. Lamont Perkins racked up a game-high 22 points for the Tigers (3-2, 1-1).
Kiski Area 55 Indiana 51
Kiski Area got 18 points from Amaree Gonzalez and held off Indiana in the fourth quarter to come away with a 55-51 Section 2-5A victory. Along with Gonzalez, Devin Lindenfelser also reached double digits with 12 points for the Cavaliers (3-2, 1-0). Darius Webb tallied 19 points for the Indians (1-4, 1-1).
Derry Area 45 Greensburg Salem 41 WATCH BROADCAST
A basket by William Stockett-Harter with 1:09 left on the clock gave Derry Area the lead it wouldn't relinquish in a narrow 45-41 win against Greensburg Salem in a Section 3-4A tilt. Stockett-Harter finished with 14 points for the Trojans (4-3, 1-1) who saw star player Stanley Rajkovich foul out with over three minutes left in regulation. Brayden Robinson added 11 points for DA. Ty Harkom (14), Jackson Stevey (13) and Solomon Cain (12) all reached double figures for the Golden Lions (3-3, 1-1).
Penn-Trafford 71 Albert Gallatin 42 WATCH BROADCAST
Penn-Trafford used a strong start to knock off visiting Albert Gallatin 71-42 in a Section 1-5A match up. The Warriors (2-5, 1-1) held a 19-8 lead after one and extended it to 39-21 at the halftime break. Zach Feldman's 17 points topped P-T while Ethan McDonald and Ben Lenart each netted 12 points. Mekhi Belt's 14 points helped the Colonials (2-4, 0-2).
Belle Vernon 74 Yough 25
Belle Vernon built up a 52-19 halftime lead and cruised to a 74-25 victory at Yough in Section 3-4A. Curty Wade came in with a game-high 14 points while teammates Elijah Majors and Cam Jenko each scored 13 points for the Leopards (5-3, 2-0). Wyatt Kalna had 12 for the Cougars (0-8, 0-2).
Knoch 53 Burrell 20
Burrell dropped its second straight Section 1-4A game losing to Knoch 53-20 on the road. Liam Avon collected 13 points to pace the Knights (3-2, 2-0) while the Buccaneers fall to (2-4, 0-2).
Jeannette 71 Bentworth 24
Jeannette went ahead 21-5 through eight minutes of play and kept pouring it on the rest of the way in a 71-24 blowout of Bentworth in Section 1-2A. Markus McGowan was the top scorer putting in 14 points for the Jayhawks (5-1, 2-0). Kymon'e Brown tossed in 12 points and Xavier Odorisio-Farrow came in with 10. Ryan Moessner's 12 points paced the Bearcats (3-2, 1-1).
Clairton 60 Greensburg Central Catholic 35
Greensburg Central Catholic fell down early to Clairton and dropped a Section 1-2A battle to the Bearcats 60-35. Jeff Thompson netted 14 points for Bentworth (3-2, 1-1) while the Centurions are now (0-5, 0-2).

Penn-Trafford 69 Greater Latrobe 34 WATCH BROADCAST
Torrie DeStefano's game-high 21 points helped Penn-Trafford to a 69-34 Section 2-5A win over visiting Greater Latrobe. In addition to DeStefano, Isabella Fontana had 16 points and Raya Johnson put in 12 for the Warriors (4-3, 2-0) who led 24-7 after one quarter of play. Maggie Maiers scored nine points for the Wildcats (2-2, 1-1).
Indiana 41 Kiski Area 18
Kiski Area was outscored by Indiana 18-0 in the third quarter as the Cavaliers fell 41-18 in a Section 2-5A battle. Laken Kugler deposited 15 points for the Indians (7-0, 2-0) while Alaysia Bell had six for Kiski Area (4-2, 0-1).
Penn Hills 54 Franklin Regional 40
Franklin Regional led 16-12 after the first quarter but couldn't hold onto the advantage, losing 54-40 in a Section 1-5A game. Katherine Yaniga's 12 points topped the Panthers (1-4, 0-2) while Milani Oliver poured in 27 points for the Indians (2-2, 1-1).
McKeesport 60 Greensburg Salem 44
Sophie Beckerleg collected 15 points but it wasn't enough for the Greensburg Salem as the Golden Lions lost to McKeesport 60-44 in Section 2-5A action. Emily Eisenberg's 18 points powered the Tigers (5-2, 1-1). Greensburg Salem is now (4-3, 0-2).
Derry Area 39 Southmoreland 34
Derry Area used a big second quarter to edge Southmoreland 39-34 in a non-section game. The Trojans used a 14-5 scoring edge in the second frame to take control of the game. Trinity Miller (15) and Kylee Metcalf (12) both reached double figures for Derry Area (2-5, 0-1). Ashley Seder accumulated 16 points and Leah Moore 14 for the Scotties (1-7, 0-2).
