Peters Township 42 Penn-Trafford 13 - LISTEN BROADCAST
Third-seeded Peters Township forced five turnovers, cruising to a 42-13 home win against No. 6 Penn-Trafford. While the Indians’ defense was suffocating, Peters QB Nolan DiLucia went 10-of-17 for 175 yards and three touchdowns, while he added a rushing score. Additionally, Nick McCullough posted four receptions for 107 yards and a pair of scores. Trailing 28-7 at the half, the Warriors were forced to go to the air, as quarterback Jonny Lovre went 14-of-25 for 187 yards, including a 34-yard touchdown connection to Nick Ponko, while Tasso Whipple compiled 78 yards on the ground. While the Indians (10-1) advance to the semifinals to play Upper St. Clair next week, the Warriors conclude with a mark of 9-3.
Pine-Richland 42 Franklin Regional 0
Plagued by injuries to key players, Franklin Regional was overwhelmed by top-seeded Pine-Richland in a 42-0 outcome. The No. 9 Panthers played without top rusher Kyle Dupill, while QB Chase Lemke left with injury in the second quarter. Conversely, the homestanding Rams showed their offensive potency early, as Mac Miller rushed 11 times for 104 yards and three scores and PR jumped out to a 28-0 edge after the opening frame. Jay Timmons added a pair of scores in the opening half – a 52-yard reception, and a 28-yard interception return score. The season ends for the Panthers at 8-4, while the Rams advance to play Bethel Park in the semifinals.

Jeannette 29 Greensburg Central Catholic 23 - WATCH BROADCAST
Kymon’e Brown had another prolific outing and Jeannette’s rushing attack was potent in guiding the Jayhawks to a 29-23 upset win against No. 5 Greensburg Central Catholic at Norwin High School. Brown anchored the run game with 26 carries for 139 yards and a score, and he added 133 yards and another TD through the air. Additionally, Nick Mendoza compiled 81 yards and a score, while Jayce Powell added five catches for 102 yards and a touchdown. Majhi Sanders also notched a rushing touchdown for the No. 13 Jayhawks. Brown’s 1-yard TD run in the third quarter put Jeannette in the lead for good, sparking 16 unanswered points for the Jayhawks. In the defeat, Samir Crosby threw for 150 yards and a score and he rushed for 44 yards, while Landon Honick snagged a TD pass and Luke Semelka and Jackson McMullen added rushing touchdowns. Jackson Louden added three receptions for 97 yards for GCC, which ends the year with a mark of 8-3. The Jayhawks, conversely, ascended to 9-3 and will match up against No. 1 seed Fort Cherry in the Class 1A semifinals next week.
