Max Davis tallied for the Fightin' Planets (15-2-4) with eight minutes remaining to trim the lead but couldn't get the equalizer on goalkeeper Noah Walker. This is the first time Franklin Regional will play in the final since 2020 when it lost to Mars 2-1. The Panthers (14-3-2) played in the semifinals in 2023 and 2021, losing both times to Hampton.
