Sean joined the Westmoreland Sports Network in 2018, but he has been covering high school and college athletics in the region for nearly a decade. A 2006 graduate of Penn State University, Sean initially reported on high-school sports via print journalism. After working in a freelance capacity for a few years, he joined the Latrobe Bulletin as a staff writer in 2012.
The following year, he added high-school play-by-play duties to his resume. Finding his true calling in broadcasting, Sean has provided commentary for dozens of WPIAL, PIHL and PIAA championships over the past five years.
Additionally, he has worked in various broadcasting and writing capacities with WHJB-FM, Penn State New Kensington, Carlow University and Carnegie Mellon University, and has also appeared numerous times on ESPN as part of its college baseball coverage of the University of Pittsburgh.
Residing in Verona, Sean stays active by playing dek hockey and basketball as much as he can. He is also an avid fan of World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE), and produces his own podcast on professional wrestling.
