St. Joe's 8 Nakles 1 LISTEN BROADCAST
St. Joe’s proved opportunistic in claiming an 8-1 win against Nakles in an elimination clash in the postseason of the Latrobe-Derry Area Teener League on Tuesday. Although outhit 6-5, the Owls capitalized on 11 walks and five errors. St. Joe’s scored in the first inning on a sacrifice fly by Josh Short. The third-seeded Owls added another run in the next inning on an RBI fielder’s choice off the bat of Brody Chismar. St. Joe’s plated a third run in the third frame, as Short produced a leadoff single and scored on a bases-loaded walk drawn by Anthony Petalino. The Owls took complete command in the fourth, scoring three runs on just one hit, as Chismar, Parker Hannah, and Short all came home. Nakles lone run came in the top of the third, as Dominic Scarton delivered a two-out single and later scored on a single by Austin Slezak. In the triumph, Hannah went 1-for-2 with a pair of walks and a run scored, while Chismar scored three times. For sixth-seeded Nakles, Slezak went 2-for-2 with a walk and an RBI. Consequently, St. Joe’s advances to Wednesday to face No. 2 Bardine’s.
St. Anthony's 4 Derry Ukes 3 LISTEN BROADCAST
Rallying from a 3-0 deficit, St. Anthony’s upset the top-seeded Derry Ukes 4-3 in an elimination game on Tuesday in the Latrobe-Derry Area Teener League playoffs. The No. 5 Saints started their comeback by scoring in the fourth, as Evan Springob reached on an error to start the frame, and came home on a groundout off the bat of Landon Smith. St. Anthony’s struck for two more runs in the fifth to deadlock the game. Seth Spillar produced an infield single, while Max Dlugos and Quinn Painter followed with singles of their own. The Saints took their first lead in the sixth, as Jaxson Makrevski drew a one-out walk, and later scored on an error to put St. Anthony’s ahead 4-3. The pitching combo of Aiden Upole and Quinn Painter made that lead stand, as they held the Ukes scoreless over the final four frames. The Derry Ukes scored a run in the first, and added two more in the third when a couple of errors allowed Cody Williams and Greyson Daugherty to score after they each drew walks. In the win, Painter and Joey Crimboli collected two hits apiece. Parker Petrosky and Rocco Harris had the only hits for the Ukes. As a result, the Saints move on to play Frontier Club on Wednesday.

Bardine's 9 St. Joe's 1 LISTEN BROADCAST
The No. 2 Meat Links took the lead in the first inning, and never looked back, rolling to a 9-1 victory against third-seeded St. Joe’s in the winners’ bracket of the Latrobe-Derry Area Teener League on Monday. In the first stanza, Pickle Burkett singled and later scored on a wild pitch, and Joey Razza’s single plated Mason Eicher to give Bardine’s a 2-0 edge. The Meat Links tacked on three more runs in the third, as Eicher provided a two-run double, and he scored on a sacrifice fly by Joey Razza. The Owls scored their lone run in the fourth, as Carter Urban reached on an error and touched home on a single by Parker Hannah. Bardine’s extended its lead in the fifth, scoring three more times, highlighted by a two-run hit by Trever Gonofsky. The Meat Links tacked on their final run in the sixth, as Pickle Burket doubled and scored on an error. In the lopsided win, the Meat Links were led by Pickle Burket, who went 4-for-4 with four runs and an RBI, while Joey Razza went 1-for-2 with two walks, two RBIs, and a run. Razza was also sterling on the mound, working 6.2 innings and allowing just four hits, while striking out six. Parker Hannah was the offensive catalyst for the Owls, as he went 2-for-3 with the lone RBI. While the Owls play an elimination game against Nakles on Tuesday, Bardine’s advances to the winners’ bracket on Wednesday.
Frontier Club 10 Derry Ukes 8 LISTEN BROADCAST
The fourth-seeded Wagoneers upset the top seed Derry Ukes 10-8 in the winners’ bracket of the Latrobe-Derry Area Teener League on Monday. Frontier Club exploded for four runs apiece in the first and second innings. In the first, back-to-back home runs by Noah Noll and Connor Donahue highlighted the success for the Wagoneers. The Ukes responded with four runs of their own in the bottom of the frame, keyed by a triple by Rocco Harris and two errors by Frontier Club. However, the Wagoneers answered in the second, scoring four more times on four hits, including a two-run single by Donahue. The Wagoneers added two more runs in the top of the fourth, as Donahue’s double plated Grady Ruffner and Noel, both of whom walked. Derry Ukes trimmed into its 10-4 deficit by scoring a pair of runs in the fourth and sixth innings. Colin Duran, Matt Fernell, and Mark Firment opened the fourth with consecutive hits and Cody Williams followed with an RBI sacrifice bunt, while Parker Petrosky notched a two-run single in the sixth. Aaryn Chappel worked a perfect seventh inning, though, to slam the door on the Ukes and earn the save for the Wagoneers. In addition to Donahue’s 3-for-4 effort with five RBIs, Noel homered and drew two walks, registering two runs batted in, while Ruffner went 1-3 with a walk, two RBIs, and two runs. Fernell was the hitting star for the Derry Ukes, as he went 2-for-2 with a walk and two runs scored, while Petrosky went 2-for-3 with a walk, two RBIs, and a run scored. While the Wagoneers advance in the winners’ bracket on Wednesday, the Ukes will face St. Anthony’s in an elimination game on Tuesday.

St. Anthony's 9 F.O.E. 8 LISTEN BROADCAST
No. 8 F.O.E. squandered an early 6-0 lead and saw its season come to an end in a 9-8 loss to No. 5 St. Anthony's in a losers bracket game on Friday. The Eagles tallied six runs in the first inning all after two outs on two hits, three walks, a pair of hit batters and one error. The Saints rebounded, however, scoring four runs in the third inning to trim the deficit to 6-4. F.O.E. would hold an 8-7 advantage going into the bottom of the sixth but Saint Anthony's took the lead in the frame when, with the game tied at 8-8, an errant throw by catcher Evan Ulewicz on a pickoff to third base scored Max Dlugos which proved to be the winning run. Tristan Cole went 2-for-3 with a triple and four RBIs for the Saints who advance to play the loser of the contest between Derry Ukes and Frontier Club which will be played Monday. Evan Springob added two RBIs for St. Anthony's. Quinn Painter allowed two runs in 4 1/3 innings of relief to earn the win. The Eagles, who outhit the Saints 10-5, were led by Hunter Urban who finished 3-for-4 with a RBI and run scored. Dominic Wedge registered two hits and scored twice for F.O.E.
Nakles 15 Cooperstown 0 LISTEN BROADCAST
Vinny Calabrace capped off a big day at the plate with a walk-off homerun in the bottom of the fifth inning as No. 6 Nakles cruised to a 15-0 victory over No. 7 Cooperstown in an elimination game Friday. Calabrace finished 3-for-4 with four RBIs and three runs scored including his long ball which enacted the 15-run rule. Tommy Snyder finished with three hits, two RBIs and scored twice for the Sharks who will next play the loser of Bardine's and St. Joe's on Tuesday. Aaron Gaskey was the winning pitcher as he struck out eight batters in 4 1/3 innings. He also drove in a pair of runs with a double. Colton Sanders recorded two hits for the Vets as their season comes to an end.

Bardine's 7 Cooperstown Vets 4 LISTEN BROADCAST
Bardine’s jumped out to a 4-0 lead in the first inning, and the Meat Links never relinquished their advantage en route to a 7-4 win against Cooperstown Vets in the opening round of the Latrobe-Derry Area Teener League postseason on Thursday. The second-seeded Meat Links produced four hits in the first inning, including a two-run single by Mason Eicher, to gain command. Bardine’s added two more runs in the third, as Pickle Burket, Eicher, and Joey Razza drew three consecutive walks, Eicher stole home, and Chase Burket singled in Razza. Bardine’s winning pitcher, Miles Smith, allowed one run over four innings, but he frequently worked out of jams, stranding seven runners over his first three innings. The Meat Links added an insurance tally in the sixth, while the Vets found offensive success in the top of the seventh. Aided by a walk and a hit batter, No. 7 Cooperstown loaded the bases. With two outs, Colton Sanders smacked a bases-clearing double to make it 7-4, but he was thrown out going to third to end the contest. Pickle Burket and Joey Razza each went 1-1 for a pair of walks for Bardine’s, while Chase Burket and Smith each collected a pair of hits. In the defeat, Colton Sanders went 2-for-4 with three RBIs, while Zach Krall had a hit and two walks, scoring twice. As a result, Bardine’s advances to the winners’ bracket to play St. Joe’s on Monday, while the Vets will square off against Nakles in an elimination game on Friday.
St. Joe's Club 6 Nakles 1 LISTEN BROADCAST
Scoreless through three innings, third-seeded St. Joe’s Club produced six runs in its final three innings at the plate to score a 6-1 win against Nakles in the opening round of the Latrobe-Derry Area Teener League playoffs on Thursday. After the No. 6 Sharks opened the scoring with a sacrifice fly by Tommy Snyder in the top of the fourth, St. Joe’s responded with three in the bottom half of the frame. Fletcher Wnek started the rally with a leadoff walk, and Brody Chismar and Josh Short produced RBI singles in the inning, with Short scoring the third run on an error by the Sharks. That was enough run support for Short, who worked 5.2 innings to earn the win on the hill. The Owls tacked on three more runs in the fifth, keyed by singles by Anthony Petalino, Colin Doyle, and Chismar, while Petalino notched an RBI single in the sixth to account for the final score. Chismar paced the offense for St. Joe’s finishing 2-for-3 with two RBIs and a run. Dominic Scarton took the loss for the Sharks, but was a bright spot offensively, going 2-for-3. While the Owls move on to the winners’ bracket to play Bardine’s on Monday, Nakles shifts to an elimination game against Cooperstown on Friday.

Derry Ukes 12 F.O. Eagles 0 LISTEN BROADCAST
The top-seeded Ukes cruised to a dominant win in all phases on Wednesday, as they prevailed 12-0 against the No. 8 Eagles in the opening round of the Latrobe-Derry Area Teener League postseason. The Ukes took command by scoring six times in the second inning, boosted by three extra-base hits. Mikey Monios opened the frame with a double, and he scored when Jaxson Repko reached on an error. Jojo Monios followed with a single, and Mason Zinkham added a double. Matt Fernell produced a sacrifice fly, Parker Petrosky and Greyson Daugherty singled, and Sonny Simon doubled to cap off the prolific stanza. The Ukes tacked on runs in each of the four subsequent innings, while Mikey Monios and Parker Petrosky combined on the shutout, limiting the Eagles to just three hits. Mikey Monios, Daugherty, and Simon each collected three hits, while Zinkham had a pair of hits. Sam Vassar, Damen Camarote, and Nate Printz produced the hits for F.O.E, which will face St. Anthony’s in an elimination game on Friday. Frontier Club 9 St. Anthony’s 2 LISTEN BROADCAST
The Wagoneers exploded for seven combined runs in the fourth and fifth innings, notching a 9-2 win against St. Anthony’s in the opening round of the Latrobe-Derry Area Teener League playoffs on Wednesday. With the contest tied 2-2 in the bottom of the fourth, fourth-seeded Frontier Club strung together four consecutive hits – a double by Tommy Rennie, singles by Nick Syphan and Connor Donahue, and a triple by Anthony Tuschong – to plate three runs. In the next frame, the Wagoneers scored four more times, keyed by back-to-back doubles by Noah Noel and Rennie. That was more than enough support for Rennie and the Wagoneers’ hurlers, who limited the No. 5 Saints to just one hit over the final six innings. Rennie took the win on the hill, working five innings and allowing two runs on four hits, while issuing three walks and striking out eight. Rennie also produced a pair of doubles and two RBIs at the plate, scoring twice, while Grady Ruffner had three hits and a run scored. The Saints scored both of their runs in the first inning, courtesy of consecutive singles by Quinn Painter, Joey Crimboli, and Aiden Upole, who took the loss on the mound. While the Saints fall into the losers bracket and will face F.O.E in an elimination game on Friday, the Wagoneers advance in the winners’ bracket to play Derry on Monday.
